How Do they Work?

Air to Water Heat Pumps do not create energy by burning fossil fuels but rather move it. This makes them extremly effiient.

IVT Air to Water Heat Pumps use a fan to force air over a heat exchanger that extracts heat from the air.

The 5°C heat taken from the air then boils the refridgerant, turning it into a vapor that is then transferred to the compressor.

The volumn of vapor is then compressed and this increases the temperature to as high as 125°C before going to a 2nd heat exchanger.

As the the hot gas moves across the cold water from the central heating system, it cools and turns back into a liquid, and passes its heat into the heat exchanger that suppiles the central heating system and domestic hot water.
